This volume offers a panoramic view of the most important Mexican architecture of the first four years of the new century. The selection includes a range of architectures, complex and heterogeneous, and includes work by the younger generations which in geographical terms transcends the limits of the capital city. Fifty projects are classified by size in a mix of authors, typologies, and locations. Concept, pragmatism, and form unite to display dismountable pavilions, houses of different sizes and tastes, office and apartment buildings (Dutch-style, neo-deco, and minimalist), museums, embassies, schools, and car dealerships, designed by architects as diverse as Teodoro González de León and Francisco Serrano, Legorreta+Legorreta, López Baz and Calleja, TEN Arquitectura, and Alberto Kalach and his disciples. The volume includes work already published in the magazine Arquine.
